Features and Specifications:
Although its nearly two years since Canon EOS 1200D released, still the latest EOS 1300D similar to its previous model. This means the camera comes with 18-megapixel APS-C sized CMOS sensor and has an ISO range of 100 to 6,400 that is expandable upto 12,800. The Canon EOS 1300D is powered by upgraded DIGIC 4+ processor for faster image processing. Another up-gradation is the resolution of 3 inch LCD screen which is doubled now at 920k dots to give clear and sharper images. The LCD screen remains fixed and the optical view finder manages only 95% field of view.
The biggest change from previous model is the addition of Wi-Fi and NFC connectivity feature, that means now you can transfer captured images instantly to your smartphones, tablet or any other compatible device and upload online quickly. The other thing is Canon offers Camera Connect App where you can shoot remotely through your smartphone. User can control camera settings like shutter speed, ISO speed, aperture through smart devices.
Canon 1300D supports Full HD video recording upto 30fps and you can manually control rates at 24fps, 25fps and 30 fps. The other features include continuous shooting(burst mode) at 3fps, 9-point AF system which is same as its previous model, high quality image capturing, better low light performance with less color distortion of images.
Talking about design, the 1300D camera is nice, attractive with some textures on gripping area which looks stylish. The configuration buttons are well managed and there are some dedicated buttons for settings like ISO, white balance, autofocus and Quick menu but a lack of video button is unimpressive. Different shooting and scenes modes are available to user to set manually. The battery life lasts for 500 shots per full charge and it is quite acceptable.
